Complete Whitening Kit irritates teeth or gums
Some users may experience temporary tooth sensitivity or mild gum irritation during whitening, particularly if they have sensitive teeth or if excess whitening gel contacts the gums. If you experience discomfort, try the following steps:
Solution 1: Confirm the proper amount of gel was applied
Confirm that only a thin line of gel along the inside front of the upper and lower sections of the LED mouth tray was used. Each total application should be only the gel between two of the lines on the syringe - each of these gel portions represents one application.
Solution 2: Remove excess gel
If whitening gel comes into contact with your gums, gently wipe away any excess with a q-tip before beginning your whitening session.
Solution 3: Reduce whitening frequency
If sensitivity occurs, allow your teeth to rest for a day or two before your next treatment, or reduce how frequently you whiten until the sensitivity subsides.
Solution 4: Contact Auraglow Support
If the irritation is severe, persists, or you believe you may qualify for a return under the Whitening Guarantee, please contact Auraglow Support by clicking here.
